Yangon - Mandalay - Monywa - Pyin Oo Lwin - Yangon ( 8 Day / 7 Night )
Day 01 - Arrival Yangon
Arrive Yangon by International flight in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Start to visit the heart of city centered Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence monument. Then photo stop at Karaweik hall - a royal floating barge with tranquil Kandawgyi Lake & Chaukhutgyi Recling Buddha. An extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. The golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 - Yangon - Mandalay
After breakfast, transfer to airport to leave for Mandalay . Arrive at Mandalay International Airport ( at Tada Oo is an hour drive from Mandalay ). Check in hotel. Whole day visit to famous sites --- Mahamuni Pagoda with its spectacular Buddha image covered in thick layers of gold leaves, stone / wood carving, bronze casting industries, gold leaf making & Zaycho market. Lunch. Afternoon visit Mandalay Palace, Silk weaving industry, Shwenandaw ( Golden Palace ) Monastery famous for its wood carvings, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world's biggest book & sunset from Mandalay Hill. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 - Mandalay -Mingun - Mandalay
Morning visit to Mingun village by boat. Proceed to Mingun village, the site of the world's largest bronze ringing bell, 3.7 meters high and 90 tons in weight. Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun Paya built to be the world's largest pagoda and beautiful Shinphyume Paya. Drive back to Mandalay . Lunch. In the afternoon visit Shwe Inn Pin Monastery, Zaycho Market & Mandalay Royal Palace & moat. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 - Mandalay - Amarapura - Monywa
Drive to Amarapura, 15 km from Mandalay . Visit Bagaya Monastery with a superb collection of Buddha statues & Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousands monks live and study. Continue to 200 years old U Bein wooden teak bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Lunch at Sagaing. Proceed to Monywa ( 150km - 4 hrs) with visit to a charming rural village specialized in the manufacture of lacquer ware & Shweguni Pagoda. Check in hotel. Also visit Ledi Kyaung Teik Monastery with 806 stone slab on which Buddhist scriptures. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 - Monywa - Mandalay
Breakfast. Across the Chindwin River by ferry boat to visit Po Win Taung where there are over 400,000 carved ( antique stone sculptures ) ancient Buddha Images 15 th century , 14 miles far from Nyaung Pin Gyi Jetty ( 45 mins drive ) to see some very fine mural paintings. About leisure for 2 hrs. there & come back Monywa. After check out hotel drive to Than Boke Day Pagoda with over 500,000 Buddha Images & also visit Thousand Bo trees Pagoda, the 222 ft. high huge reclining Buddha Image & standing Buddha on the hill top. Drive back to Mandalay . Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 - Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay
Breakfast. Drive to Maymyo ( former British Hill Station ) which is 90 mins. uphill drive from Mandalay . Highlights sites are water fall, Peik Chin Myaung Cave , Chinese Jog House, Maymyo Zay & 2000 acre Botanical Garden known as Kandawgyi Garden . Drive back to Mandalay . Time to relax, then dinner and overnight at hotel in Mandalay .
Day 07 - Mandalay - Yangon
After breakfast. Fly to Yangon by morning flight. Arrive Yangon . Check in hotel. Lunch. Afternoon visit the National Museum to see the 8 meters high of Golden Lion Throne and Mandalay Royal regalia. Then continue visit to Botataung Pagoda where Buddha hair enshrine in the temple also to see bustling jetty & to feel the breeze, rather relaxing. In the evening visit China & Indian Town to see their living ways by walking the street stalls. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - Yangon Departure
After breakfast. Transfer to Yangon International airport for departure flight.
