Yangon - Pyay - Akauk Taung - Pyay - Yangon ( 7 Day / 6 Night )


Day 01 - Arrival Yangon

Arrive Yangon by International flight in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Start to visit the heart of city centered Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence monument.  Then photo stop at Karaweik hall - a royal floating barge with tranquil Kandawgyi Lake & Chaukhutgyi Recling Buddha. An extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. The golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Yangon - Pyay

After breakfast proceed to Pyay ( Prome ), situated on the eastern bank of the Irrawaddy river. A few kilometer north - east of the town is Thaye Khittaya ( Sri Ksetra ), an archaeological site of the ancient Pyu capital ( 5 - 9 century ). Arrive Pyay & check in hotel. In the evening visit Shwesandaw Pagoda for seeing beauty over town & Irrawaddy River . Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 - Pyay - Akauk Taung - Pyay

After breakfast, visit to Pyay Myo Ma Zay to observe the life of Myanmar people. The places of interest in Pyay are Heshtatgyi Pagoda, Bawbawgyi Pagoda, Payama stupa whose architecture resembles ancient Indian style & Hmaw Zar Archeological Museum . After lunch drive from Pyay to Htonebo village ( 58 km ). Then take a 15 mins cruise to Akauk Taung. Just taking a big climb & trek to see Buddha images were carved on the mountains slides. This is a chance to see the enchanting Burmese simple ways of life in the timeless villages which lies amidst the surrounding rice fields with yoke water buffaloes. Come back Pyay. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 - Pyay - Bagan

After breakfast start the overland trip through rural landscapes of rice fields and small villages with its own interesting myths, legends and beautiful view of the Ayeyarwaddy River . In the afternoon arrive Bagan. Check in hotel. Relax. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.



Day 05 - Bagan


Breakfast. For sightseeing start with busy local market and visit to a diverse selection of the important pagodas and temples --- Shwezigon Pagoda - building by King Anawratha in the early 11 th century as a religious shrine, Gu Byauk Gyi - a temple with exquisite murals of Jatakas Scenes in Nyaung U, Shwe Gu Gyi Temple - noted for line stucco carvings and Ananda Temple - with four huge standing Buddha images galleried interior. After lunch, continue sightseeing to visit Manuha Temple - from once been the palace of King Manuha, Lawkananda pagoda - a landmark of Bagan in Thiripyitsaya village, lacquer craftsmen's workshop in nearby Myin Ga Ba village & sunset from Bupaya - standing close to Irrawaddy River .Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 - Bagan - Yangon

After breakfast visit to Minnanthu village area to visit Sulamani Pagoda, Laymyetnha Temple, Payathonezu Temple with colourful paintings & Thanbula Pagoda. Then proceed to see the daily life style of Bagan people, Dhamayazika Pagoda & Su Taung Pyay Oak Kyaung in Pwar Saw village. Lunch. Check out hotel. Transfer to Bagan airport. Arrive Yangon & check in hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 - Yangon Departure

Breakfast. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
